Tree Recycling
Christmas Trees will be collected at the curb during the month of January 2012. Each resident is allowed one free tree pick up on your regular service day. Please place your tree to the side of your green cart, NOT inside it. If your tree is greater than 6 feet in length, please cut it in half. Remember to remove all ornaments and metal stands. Flocked trees (those with fake snow on the branches) will not be accepted.
You may also drop off up to two trees, free of charge, during the month of January 2012, at the Marin Resource Recovery Center located at 565 Jacoby Street, San Rafael. Flocked trees are accepted here for a fee.
