Garbage Pick-up

Recycling Pick-up
Curbside recycling pick-up occurs weekly on the same day as garbage pick-up. Recyclables are collected alongside your weekly garbage pick-up including glass bottles, aluminum and tin cans, newspaper, office waste paper, cardboard and plastics.
All recyclables collected are transported to our recycling facility for sorting and recovery. Over the past decade, our collection and educational efforts have resulted in a 74% increase in recycling, surpassing the state mandate and saving the equivalent of two million trees and 900 million gallons of water.

Yard Waste Pick-up
Curbside yard waste pick-up occurs bi-weekly. Yard waste diverted from the landfill prevents the release of methane gas, a powerful greenhouse gas 20 times more potent than carbon dioxide. Thank you for composting your yard waste it is an important step towards our zero waste goal.
