Basic Services
Basic residential services include weekly curbside garbage pick-up, weekly curbside recycling pick-up, and bi-weekly curbside yard waste pick-up. Appropriate container options are provided as part of our service.

Marin Sanitary Service collects recyclables alongside your weekly garbage pick-up including glass bottles and jars, aluminum and tin cans, plastics #1-7, newspaper, magazines, waste paper and cardboard. All recyclables collected are transported to our recycling facility for sorting and recovery. Over the past decade, our collection and educational efforts have resulted in a 74% increase in recycling, surpassing the state mandate and saving the equivalent of two million trees and 900 million gallons of water.
