Marin Recycling and Buy Back Center
The Marin Recycling Center is the processing facility for all residential recyclable materials collected in the dual sort carts at the curbside.

In addition to processing all curbside recyclables, the Buy-Back center housed in the Marin Recycling Center will pay you for certain recyclable items.
These include:

Aluminum cans

Glass bottles
-
Plastic bottles that are CA Redemption (CV).

Scrap metals: aluminum, copper, brass, steel

Cardboard bundles 300 pounds or more.

*Each material must be pre-separated so they can be weighed for their different values.
Marin Recycling also accepts old vehicles for dismantling and recycling for a nominal fee. Please call for details on this service prior to bringing in your vehicle at (415) 453-1404 x 3233.
